The alterations came into effect on August 25
Hoplon Infotainment performed a new update on Taikodom. One of the main changes configures the game in order to respond to an old request from players: the creation of new Corps. Even though the feature will only be available on the next versions, 15 new outposts have been under construction since August 25 and will be available for Corps soon.
The new version also fixes bugs in the neutron weapons. They now shoot a high-speed energy projectile, at about 5,000 meters per second, instead of shooting a beam that hits the target instantly, as it used to be. The alteration provides the shooting precision required for this weapon category and is performed in stages: first, the weapons in Corps' deposits and players' inventories from level 15. All the others will be replaced gradually or through direct requests from players, who must submit a support request to do so. Range, damage, rate of fire, maximum load and regeneration rate were not altered.
From this update on, items purchased with hoplons may be deleted by players only after expiration, in order to prevent these items from being destroyed accidentally when still in effect. The participants who wish to delete an item still in effect must submit a support request on the website.
A minor problem was solved as well, from the update on, it is not possible to use the letter "ç" in character names anymore, for this action is prohibited according to the Nomenclature Rules. In this new deployment, the system blocks the registrations that have the letter "ç" and all characters that still have this letter in their name will be renamed automatically within two weeks. Whoever has their name changed, has fifteen days to request a second naming.
